Life Span represent the ‘period of time from birth to the natural death’. It very with organism to organism. Life span does not depend upon size and shape of organism.

For example:

1- The size of crow (15 year) and parrot (140 year) are not very different but their life span show a wide difference.

2- A mango tree (100 year) has a much shorter life span as compared to a Banyan tree(200 year).
